Custom Designed Bases/Plinths

Our knowledge and understanding of art lends itself to the fabrication of sculpture bases and plinths. We custom design each piece to fit the requirements of the art, as well as the client.  Our craftsmen are skilled in creating bases regardless of the medium, size, or weight of your sculpture.

Exhibition Services

Dun-Rite’s craftsmen specialize in building custom, high quality cases for traveling exhibitions.  These cases are constructed precisely for their heavy use.  We understand the importance of providing a secure, quality crate that must be equally accessible. Each case is carefully created to satisfy the need of the individual item.  International or domestic, on land or air, Dun-Rite’s crates are impervious to abuse. Our craftsmen ensure that your works will be shipped safely and securely throughout their voyage.

Dun-Rite can also fabricate temporary walls to display your artwork. Certain works require unique anchoring and placement. These walls can be customized to each venue.

Monumental Storage & Restoration Area

Short term or long, Dun-Rite’s vast storage facility will satisfy all your storage needs. Dun-Rite’s 35,000 square-foot yard can accommodate monumental sculpture of any size and weight. Our warehouse and outdoor storage area is military approved and secured to ensure the protection of your valuables. If special handling is required to off-load or load, our dedicated staff is readily available with the proper equipment.

In addition to our storage area, the outdoor space is also available for restoration of monumental works. This is ideal for those who do not have the space needed for burning, cutting, cleaning and polishing of large items.  Dun - Rite's space is perfect for restoration where ample ventilation is required.

Trucking/Hauling

We specialize in all your transport needs. For over 50 years, Dun-Rite has been transporting items throughout the tri-state area. Our state-of-the-art trucks and trailers are designed to carry any load, irrespective of weight, to any location. Our professional staff has the experience of over half a century to ensure the safe delivery of your items. We understand how to specially care for and protect your items in transit.
